MEET KRYSTINA
Hello and Welcome – I’m Krystina!
I am an animal lover who also happens to be a photographer. In 2013, I decided to combine my two passions in life, photography and animals, and start a pet photography business. I came up with the name from my Yorkie Ollie’s favorite toy, the “Funny Bone.” He was proud of that, of course.
Sadly, we had to say goodbye to our sweet Ollie in 2022. That immense loss has given me the appreciation to capture your animals in the current moment and the understanding to be available for them in their final days. This is one of the main reasons why I believe having beautiful photos of our furry loved ones is so important.
When I’m not out frolicking with you and your animals, I’m spending time with my dog, Lou, my husband, John, and a mini horse called April. I’m passionate about giving back to the animal community and volunteer weekly at an equine sanctuary, where I’m a Love Sponsor to sweet and sassy April and a helping hand to all on property. I’m also an advocate for ocean conservation and have spent meaningful time below the surface with a variety of sea creatures. My dedication to animal welfare has also taken me to an elephant refuge, where I lived among the elephants and helped provide care and habitat upkeep. Closer to home, I photograph dogs at local shelters to help them find their forever families. Oh, and I immediately befriended two wild crows, Russell Crow and Cindy Cawford, since moving to the PNW in 2023.
Why choose me? Well, my philosophy is anyone can sit a pet in a chair and snap a picture, but I strive to take meaningful and creative photographs that highlight the true personality that you see within your furry family members every day. They have such an impact on our lives and there’s no denying they love us unconditionally.
My job (and my privilege) is to capture some of those special moments in beautiful images you can look back on forever. I also create realistic, custom drawings of pets. This has come to be a wonderful option for families that have already had to say goodbye to their beloved companions.
